Welcome!

Dr Swindler"The intellectual and emotional potential to learn lies within every child, dependent upon educators to discover."

The autumn of my 57th year I was conferred with a doctorate degree in Education: Special Education. I have written five manuscripts totaling close to one thousand pages, dedicated with gratitude to the individuals, children and adults, who continue to inspire others to seek the intellectual and emotional potential within every human being. All students can learn if given a chance to be recognized, and it is the responsibility of all educators to seek individual strengths in need of recognition.

Acknowledgements

My children and my extended family continue to inspire me to share that anything can be accomplished with dreams and aspirations. My husband provided the opportunity by recognizing my heartfelt desire to make the world a better place for all students within a system in need of change, and he took a chance. Allowing me to become an instrument of change through others has been my humble privilege. All students can learn if given a chance to be recognized, and it is the responsibility of all educators to seek individual strengths in need of recognition.

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music in which he hears, however measured or far away. Henry David Thoreau (1854)
